Banoffee pie is always a favourite for us ... We love the creamy caramel layer with real bananas and biscuits base ..... OMG .
These flavours combined together are perfect ? So we decided to experiment and create our own banoffee bar ...
To get the caramel flavour we needed to caramelise the sugar, then combined it with our Madagascar Cocoa butter and banana powder ... this take along time to get the texture and flavour, but its worth it !
The finishing touches was to add a base that represented the texture of banoffee pie, so we went for crushed organic banana pieces and oaty biscuit crumble ! Wouldn’t you agree .. the picture says it all!
